We’re almost at the end of the year, which means LEGO is starting to offload its extra stock and “retiring soon” sets through various sales. Magical, I know. In just the past few days, Amazon has dropped prices on a range of LEGO Disney sets, including adult-oriented sets from the LEGO Ideas line and toddler-friendly LEGO Duplo builds.
Any of these sets would make a great winter activity that nets you a toy or decoration, but they could also be top-tier gifts for the Disney fan in your life. Speaking of, we’re also seeing discounts on the 2026 LEGO Advent Calendars, including the Disney Princess variant.
LEGO Disney Sets Getting Big Discounts on Amazon
The biggest price drop in the bunch is a whopping 55% off the Kakamora Barge set, which released alongside Moana 2 and will soon be retired by LEGO. In addition to the barge itself, the 572-piece set includes a Maui build and a Moana minifigure.
Moana is frankly the main star of the deals, which also include lowest-ever prices on the smaller Kakamora and Heihei sets. The other big Disney Princess franchise seeing price drops is Frozen, with discounts on two versions of Elsa’s Ice Castle as well as an Olaf set.
For more experienced builders, the LEGO Ideas Luxo Jr. set, also known as the Pixar lamp, has dropped back down to its lowest price ever at $43. We had the chance to build this set ourselves, with reviewer Myles Obenza finding the build surprisingly intricate despite its smaller piece count. He also enjoyed the set’s “small references to classic Pixar films like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, and Up.”
Sally’s Flowerpot from The Nightmare Before Christmas collection has been sitting at an all-time low for a while now, but I’m of the opinion it would make a great Halloween decoration. Unfortunately, the full Nightmare Before Christmas build continues to be out of stock at most retailers, including the LEGO Store.
Will LEGO Prices Drop Lower on Black Friday?
We’re in the season of never-ending deals, which can make it hard to know when exactly you’re getting the best possible price. No one wants to pick up a discount only to watch a LEGO set’s price drop even further the next day. That said, most of the sets listed above are at their lowest-ever price, and am confident those prices won’t be dropping any lower.
As I’ve learned from IGN’s resident LEGO expert Chris Reed, a 20% discount is pretty standard for a LEGO set, while anything above 30% off is a steal. You can also use price-tracking tools like camelcamelcamel to ensure you’re getting the best possible price.
