The NFL will head into the 2026 season with three official sports betting partners after signing multi-year deals with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
DraftKings and FanDuel have held that status since 2021. Fanatics now joins them through a broader relationship with the league that already covers collectibles and official NFL merchandise.
Under the agreements, each operator can use NFL branding to market online and retail sportsbooks. Their partnerships also extend to league events such as the Super Bowl and NFL Draft, including hospitality opportunities and appearances across NFL-owned digital platforms.
All three will get official real-time play-by-play data, proprietary Next Gen Stats and BetVision through Genius Sports, the NFL’s exclusive data distribution partner.
“We are thrilled to have three world-class partners in the sports betting category,” said Renie Anderson, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at the NFL.
NFL broadens betting partnerships at home and overseas
Each operator must follow NFL integrity rules while cooperating on information sharing, advocacy and responsible gambling. That includes avoiding wagers the league considers objectionable, including bets connected to officiating, injuries, advance information or outcomes one person could easily manipulate.
DraftKings remains the Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner, continuing a relationship dating to 2019, while Fanatics becomes an Official Online Casino Marketing Partner.
“For the last five years, the NFL has been an important partner,” said Christian Genetski, president at FanDuel.
Genius Sports also monitors betting activity for suspicious patterns. Every NFL club has an Integrity Representative, generally a retired FBI agent or senior law enforcement official, while players, coaches, officials and staff receive annual Gambling Policy training.
The league’s responsible betting work includes partnerships with the National Council on Problem Gambling, Responsible Gambling Council and International Center for Responsible Gaming. Grants to the National Council totaled $6.2 million in 2021 and $6.4 million in 2024.
The domestic agreements follow the NFL’s recent expansion of sportsbook partnerships overseas. Paddy Power became the league’s Official Sportsbook Partner in the UK and Ireland under a one-year agreement announced in 2025, covering online and retail promotion, digital activity and activations around games in London and Dublin.
“We are delighted to partner with Paddy Power as the NFL’s official sports betting partner in the UK and Ireland. Their innovative approach to fan engagement and their passion for sports entertainment align perfectly with our goals as we continue to grow the game across the region.”
Spain also gained an official betting partner in 2025, with bwin signing a multi-year agreement ahead of the NFL’s first regular-season game in Madrid.
“Partnering with the NFL is an exciting milestone for bwin in Spain, in a year when the league is celebrating its first game in Spain at the Santiago Bernabéu, one of the great temples of world sport,” says Curry Sloan, managing director for Canada, Iberia, and Latin America.
“As one of the world’s most exciting sports leagues, the NFL shares our passion for competition, entertainment, and fan engagement. Together, we will deliver unforgettable experiences and bring fans in Spain even closer to the action, always with a focus on safe and responsible gaming.”
