LySandra Vuong’s Covenant is undoubtedly one of the most popular comics on the Webtoon platform, and Oni Press has been busy bringing the series to an even wider audience in recent years. The publisher debuted the first print edition of this supernatural romance back in 2024, and now they’re finally giving the series the conclusion fans have been waiting for with the release of Covenant: The Final Chapter.
With the Kickstarter campaign for Covenant: The Final Chapter live now, IGN can exclusively debut new artwork of the hardcover book and some of the bonus items included in the campaign. Check out the slideshow gallery below to see the book as well as an exclusive pin set and tarot cards:
Here’s the official summary of Covenant: The Final Chapter:
As the world descends into chaos, Sunny and Ezra go rogue, falling into the depths of Hell to put an end to things once and for all. But when the truth behind Sunny’s parentage is finally revealed, so too is the great secret binding all angels and demons — are they really so different after all? What happens when you can no longer trust in faith?
“Covenant is a supernatural action series about faith, family, and finding your place in a world that expects you to be something you’re not,” said Vuong in a statement. “What begins as an action-packed comic about exorcists, demons, and angels reveals a deeply personal story about trauma, love, and the courage to choose your own path. At its heart, it follows Sunny and Ezra as they navigate Heaven and Hell while learning who they are — and who they want to be.”
“Covenant Vol. 6 finally gives us answers to some of the biggest questions haunting the series,” added Vuong. “Who is Sunny’s dad? And what’s his end game? Will Sunny and Ezra actually face this thing that is growing between them while they try to stop him? This book contains everything I have been looking forward to bringing to life for a very long time.”
The Kickstarter campaign for Covenant: The Final Chapter is live now. The book will be released in stores in July 2027.
