Rockstar didn’t just reveal the GTA 6 cover art and the date pre-orders go live, it also added a new image to its official website offering a fresh look at Vice City.
The impressive dynamic image can be seen in motion as you scroll down the GTA 6 landing page. It shows Vice City at sunset with various vehicles flying overhead, cars driving on the freeway, and advertisements at work. We also see a ferris wheel in motion, ships moving on the water, and a close look at what look like high-rise apartment buildings set within construction work.
This fresh look at Vice City shows just how alive Rockstar’s virtual world is, even when viewed from a great distance.
As you’d expect, fans are already scanning the image for hints at what to expect from GTA 6 when it launches this November. Apart from marveling at the realism on display, fans are trying to work out exactly which part of Vice City we’re seeing here. They’re counting the vehicles in air, on sea, and on land, and wondering if we’ll get to actually pilot and drive them (we can see a yacht and container ship moving). They’re also taking a close look at the windows to see if there are any clues not just to what may be inside, but Rockstar’s approach to building interiors with GTA 6. Some are suggesting we’re technically getting new gameplay footage here, although that’s a bit of a stretch.
We also have new Lucia and Jason artwork, which represents a stylized take on the two GTA 6 protagonists.
It’s also worth noting that Rockstar has finally updated its pinned tweet, which had still pointed to GTA 6 Trailer 2 and what was then a May 26, 2026 release date. Rockstar has also changed the color scheme of its official logo from yellow to pink, reflecting the tone of GTA 6 itself.
There are of course a number of unanswered questions around GTA 6. With pre-orders going live on June 25, we’ll find out the price of the game. Will Rockstar stick with $70, or go higher, potentially setting a new benchmark for the video game industry? And what about the performance of the game itself? Will Rockstar reveal the frame-rate and resolution of GTA 6 across the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S?
GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
