Pokémon’s New Deluxe Character Guide Book Preorders Score Significant Discount at Amazon

Pokémon fans can currently save big on the insanely popular, upcoming Pokémon Deluxe Character Guide ahead of its August 25 release, with Amazon cutting the hardcover’s price from $59.99 to just $41.99.

There’s also good news for collectors. The Pokémon Deluxe Character Guide Limited Edition Box Set Collection has returned to stock at Amazon after previously becoming unavailable, and it’s available at a discount too, dropping from $199.99 to $186.39.

The 336-page hardcover, written by Alex Irvine, explores Pokémon from every region and era, covering the video games, anime, Pokémon Trading Card Game, and more. It also includes a foreword from The Pokémon Company’s President and CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara.

Beyond the extensive character profiles, the book itself has been designed as a premium collector’s item, featuring gold-edged pages and a striking white-and-gold cover showcasing Pokémon from across the franchise’s history.

Preorder Pokémon Deluxe Character Guide Limited Edition Box Set Collection

For dedicated collectors, the Limited Edition Box Set Collection bundles the Deluxe Character Guide with a range of exclusive extras, including:

  • A Certificate of Authenticity housed in a custom envelope
  • Two collectible video game art prints
  • Two collectible animation art prints
  • An exclusive premium Pokémon Trading Card Game playmat (24″ x 14″)
  • A deluxe collector’s presentation box

With Amazon already discounting both editions ahead of launch, now is a good time to lock in a preorder before release day. The Limited Edition Box Set in particular feels like the kind of collectible that could become harder to find once it officially launches in August.
