A good night’s sleep is essential for a healthy and productive day. If you’re having trouble sleeping, especially when you’re travelling and bedded in unfamiliar accomodations, then you might when to check out this deal. Ahead of Black Friday, Amazon is offering the diminutive Dreamegg D1 Nova white noise machine for just $12.99 after coupon code “HEHQUYDX“. You don’t need to be a Prime member to get in on this deal.
Dreamegg Portable White Noise Machine and Alarm Clock for $13
The D1 Nova measures less than 4″ cubed and weighs in at about 8oz. This model plugs in via USB Type-C for power. It functions as an alarm clock with a big digital display and integrated night light but its most notable use is as a noise maker.
In terms of sleep machine features, the D1 Nova offers 25 soothing nature sounds, including ocean waves, rain, birds, fan sounds, and, of course, white noise. Since it’s supposed to be placed next to you on a bedside table, it doesn’t need to have oversized speakers, but the D1 Nova is still loud enough to help drown out other ambient noises that might otherwise keep you awake, like late night conversations, urban fauna getting their groove on, or music blaring outside.
This could be a very useful device for anyone with newborns or toddlers. In my experience, a white noise machine is one of the best ways to keep a baby sleeping, even in noisier environments, and thus an essential tool to maintain your sanity.
