The MSI Codex R2 RTX 5070 Gaming PC Drops to $1449
The MSI Codex R2 gaming PC is equipped with an air-cooled Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F is a 20-core processor with a max boost clock of 5.3GHz. This is a solid all-purpose CPU for both gaming and multi-tasking. A 750W PSU powers the system.
The GeForce RTX 5070 GPU is an excellent choice for 1080p or 1440p gaming
The GeForce RTX 5070 is the best Nvidia card for 1080p and 1440p gaming and by itself this card retails for $600 (although generally it’s higher these days). It’s also powerful enough to run most games at 4K, although at that point you’ll see noticeable gains jumping up to a 5070 Ti. Compared to the previous generation GPUs, the RTX 5070 offers a slight performance improvement over the RTX 4070 Super, which was and still is an excellent GPU. The fps gain is greater in games that support DLSS 4.5 with multi-frame generation. Check out our RTX 5070 review.
