Labor Day Sales Are Now Live — Here’s Where You Can Find Deals Today

Amazon is the best place to shop during sales events because it often matches prices everywhere else. As the largest online retailer, it has an advantage; a generally massive stock of everything. If one store discounts something popular, Amazon can adapt its pricing on the fly.

As for what’s worth buying at Amazon during this time of year, your best bet is out-of-season gear. This includes outoor clothing, sporting goods, and shoes. You can also find some decent prices on electronics like Fire TV sticks and speakers if you don’t want to wait for Black Friday. And while there aren’t any deals on Amazon’s Kindle devices so far this year, there are some solid discounts at the Kindle Store.

Best Buy Labor Day Sale

Best Buy has had a big month of savings so far, having just wrapped up its big 60th Anniversary sale. The Best Buy Labor Day sale is pretty much a continuation of those discounts and is generally the best place to find tech deals right now.

Some of the best things to buy at Best Buy include TVs, laptops, monitors, soundbars, and major appliances. For gamers, there are also deals on refurbished PS5 consoles, which is really the way to go in 2026. And while it isn’t tech-related, Best Buy is also having a sale on MTG cards this week.

Barnes & Noble Book Haul Sale

The Barnes & Noble Book Haul sale has been going on since August, but it’s still worth checking out if you haven’t already. The discounts are available online or in-person at Barnes & Noble locations near you. The sale includes up to 50% off hardcovers books, 25% off LEGO sets, and some discounts on B&N-exclusive editions.

Amazon has already price-matched many of the best book deals at Barnes & Noble, so the deals on exclusive hardcover editions are what I’d recommend checking out first if you’re looking for deals you won’t find elsewhere. There are also some LEGO Wednesday set deals here that have yet to be matched.

Target Labor Day Sale

Target’s Labor Day sale has many of the same deals you’ll find at Best Buy, Amazon, or Walmart, but with a few extra things thrown in. The big highlight is that Target has some pretty good deals on groceries.

These Labor Day sales are also in stores if you prefer to do your shopping in person. Seeing as it’s back-to-school season, some of the best things to buy from Target right now are back-to-school things. You may want to browse online before heading to the store to pick up those supplies. I went to pick out a new lunch pale for my son at the Target closest to me last weekend and stock was pretty much wiped out.
