We’re now into day three of Amazon Prime Day 2026, which means the sale is entering the point where some of the best gaming deals have already appeared, and some are starting to disappear.
For PlayStation fans, there are still plenty of bargains worth checking out. The standout offer so far is a Used “Like New” PlayStation Portal for just $166.88 via Amazon Warehouse, while Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has dropped to only $25.38 on PS5.
Outside of Amazon, Best Buy is also running one of the more interesting GTA 6 promotions we’ve seen so far. Anyone who bundles a PS5 console with a GTA 6 preorder will receive a $50 reward certificate, effectively offsetting a large chunk of the game’s cost.
If you’ve been waiting to add a few PS5 games to your collection, now’s probably the time. Prime Day wraps up tomorrow, June 26, and there’s no guarantee these discounts will stick around until the finish line.
PS5 Games on Sale
Amazon’s gaming deals are particularly strong this year, with discounts on recent releases like Resident Evil Requiem, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
Resident Evil Requiem has dropped to its lowest price yet at Amazon, while Clair Obscur has returned to the best price we’ve seen since launch. Both rank among the easiest recommendations in this sale, especially if they’ve been sitting on your wishlist for a while.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are also down to just $19.99 each. With Final Fantasy VII Revelation scheduled for next year, it’s an ideal opportunity to catch up on both games before the trilogy reaches its conclusion.
And that’s only scratching the surface. Amazon still has dozens of PlayStation game deals available across RPGs, shooters, racing games, and recent blockbusters.
With only limited time left in the Prime Day sales, this is likely your last chance to bag these top games at such a monumental discount.
PlayStation Portal – Dodge the Price Hike!
For those still hunting a PlayStation Portal deal after this year’s dramatic price increase to $250, Amazon Warehouse has one of the best offers we’ve seen. Used “Like New” units are available for $166.87 after an additional 15% discount at checkout, a saving of roughly 33% compared to the current retail price.
The PlayStation Portal isn’t a standalone handheld console. Instead, it’s designed to stream PS5 games either from your home console or, with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription, directly from Sony’s cloud gaming library. It essentially combines an 8-inch 1080p display with DualSense controls, making it one of the most comfortable ways to play PS5 games away from the TV.
In his review of the PlayStation Portal, IGN’s Seth Macy wrote:
“The PlayStation Portal is the most surprising device I’ve ever come away from loving after going in loaded with skepticism. It’s such a better experience than using your phone with a slap-on controller, and it works so much better than I was anticipating.”
PS5 Console Deals
Ever since the PlayStation 5 Pro skyrocketed in price earlier this year to almost $900, I have been eagerly looking forward to Amazon Prime Day to see if we can get any decent discounts on the world’s most powerful console.
Here’s the best deals I could find across not just Amazon, but other retailers as well.
Free Best Buy $50 Gift Card When Buying GTA 6 with an Eligible Console
Best Buy has announced that it’s giving away free “$50 reward certificates” for anyone bundling a Grand Theft Auto 6 preorder with an eligible PlayStation 5 or Xbox console.
To be eligible for the promo, buyers are required to have a “My Best Buy” membership. New and existing members are eligible for the deal. My Best Buy is free to join, but it also has two separate premium tiers (Plus or Total) with their own benefits. These cost $29.99 or $199.99 per year, respectively.
Technically, it’s not an official GTA 6 console bundle; the game and hardware are purchased separately, but the promotion still effectively rewards anyone planning to upgrade their console ahead of what will likely be the biggest game release of all time.
The savings aren’t instant, however. Best Buy says eligible customers will receive their $50 promotional certificate in their My Best Buy account around November 25, 2026, meaning you’ll need to wait several months before cashing in the bonus credit.
Amazon Resale Deals: Save Up to 25%
While the standard console hasn’t seen any price drops, Amazon Resale is currently offering up to an extra 25% off for Prime members through to June 26. This is a huge opportunity for gamers looking to save on expensive consoles, such as the PS5 Pro, which is currently down to $710.66.
There’s also the PS5 Slim deal for around $500 as well.
Unfortuntely, the PS5 Pro deal is currently sold out – at least for now.
But, we’re occassionally seeing the Amazon Resale deal restock every few hours, so it’s worth checking back in as much as you can to see if you can snag the deal before anyone else can.
Good luck, and good hunting!
Perfect TV for PS5 – Best Deal
If you’ve got the budget for it, there’s nothing on the market that’s better than an OLED TV. And among OLED TV brands, I wouldn’t recommend anyone over LG now that the most popular size has dropped in price for Amazon Prime Day.
The 2025 65″ LG Evo C5 OLED Smart TV is currently $1,199.99 with free shipping at Amazon and LG direct, as well as other retailers. This is the best price I’ve seen so far this year.
If you’ve been considering grabbing the remote player, chances are good that this is one of the best deals you’ll see for a while. Be sure to act fast, as these Amazon Resale deals tend to go quickly.
